Xposed framework installation fix for 'Huawei Ascend G700 U10'

Huawei ascend g700 is a smartphone with rich features. You will love its hardware but you may not like its Emotion UI look. But again rooting your device can solve almost all your problems and gives you the power to customize it as per your aspect. To root your huawei g700 smartphone follow this tutorial.

Xposed modules are the framework modules which allows you to use custom rom features witthout installing one. But Huawei devices have some modifications in their system files which does not allow to write the module files to the system.

If you are having the same problem as shown in the above picture then you are at the right place. Here is a step by step guide of the solution..

• Backup everything on sd card , just in case you break anything :)
• Download  xposed module installer  from here  .
• Install the xposed module installer app and open it . you'll see the screen as shown above with the red message in Framework section .Now follow the steps below to get rid of this error.
• Download and install 'Total Commander' app from the play store.
• Now open the total commander . 

 

• Select 'File system root' folder.

• Scroll down and find 'system' folder.
  
  
  

• In system folder find build.prop. 

 

 

 

• Hold build.prop file and select 'Edit file' form the menu.

 

• Select 'Totalcmd Editor' and hit 'just once'.

• Now here you have to be very careful , because editing the wrong part of build.prop can soft brick your phone . It would look like this.

 

• Now scroll down and find 'ro.config.hwtheme=1'

 

• Change the value '1' to '0'  . it will be like 'ro.config.hwtheme=0'

• now save the file .

• Now restart your phone and open xposed installer  and install the framework again.
• finally restart your phone again and open xposed installer .
• The red error message is gone :)

Now you can download and use your favorite modules and enhance the look of your Huawei ascend G700 .
